Chef De Partie
Beamish Park Hotel offers memorable dining experiences. This all begins behind the scenes with our culinary team’s commitment to an efficient service and exceptional cuisine. With the Bistro and Garden Room plus outdoor dining, you’ll be working in an exciting but busy kitchen using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
You will grow with the team and assist the Head Chef showcasing your talents with input on our menu.
Your role as Chef de Partie
- To ensure the delivery of high quality, consistently presented menu items
- To manage food cost controls that are set by Head Chef
- To ensure compliance with all food safety requirements
- To track, monitor and minimise waste
- To ensure a focus on sustainability targets
- Owning your section, you will prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard
- Work closely with the front of house team to ensure our guests have a memorable dining experience
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and using your innovative ideas to create dishes for the menus.
- Ensure all areas of the kitchen are clean sanitised, before/during/after shifts

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Food preparation skills
- Cooking experience
- Culinary background
- Kitchen expertise
- Proficiency in meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
