Domestic Assistant
We are currently recruiting Domestic staff to join our team at Burlington Hall .

Main duties
The role of the successful applicant will be to support the Housekeeper to maintain a safe and clean environment. Tasks will primarily involve maintaining the cleanliness of the Home to a very high standard and will vary on a daily basis as determined by the Manager/Housekeeper. These will include:
- Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying all waste bins
- Cleaning glass and mirrors
- Dusting/wiping of all room surfaces including paintwork
- Sweeping and mopping of floor surfaces
- Cleaning toilets and bathrooms
- Cleaning bedrooms and corridors
- Shampooing carpets to ensure rooms are odour free
- Reporting any maintenance concerns to the appropriate person
- Keeping cleaning store clean and tidy
- Keep cleaning materials stored safely
- Ensuring COSHH and H&S (including risk assessments) guidelines are followed at all times (Training can be given)
- Deep cleaning of rooms
- Assisting with stock control
- Ensuring necessary documentation is accessible, up to date and completed promptly
- Serving breakfast
