About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Supplier Relationship Manager to join our Surveying & Minor Works team. In this key role, you’ll lead the performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of our supplier network, ensuring high-quality service delivery that makes a real difference to our residents.
You’ll oversee day-to-day contract delivery, manage supplier escalations, and ensure all services meet contractual and procurement requirements. Acting as a vital link between our internal teams and external partners, you’ll build strong relationships, drive collaboration, and support the delivery of commercial, service, and compliance objectives—while also championing social value and sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier & Contract Management

Manage supplier relationships across Surveying & Minor Works, ensuring strong performance and service delivery

Oversee contract execution, lead performance reviews, and resolve escalations efficiently
Performance & Continuous Improvement

Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain clear performance reporting
Compliance & Governance

Ensure supplier compliance with contractual, regulatory, and procurement requirements

Support audits and maintain strong contract governance with Procurement and Legal teams
Commercial Management

Monitor spend, support forecasting, and identify cost-saving opportunities

Validate financials and ensure value for money across supplier contracts
Stakeholder Engagement

Build effective relationships with internal teams and act as the key link to suppliers

Provide expert advice on performance, contracts, and commercial matters
Social Value & ESG

Monitor delivery of social value commitments and promote sustainable practices

Work with suppliers to maximise local community impact
Risk Management

Identify and manage risks related to supplier performance and delivery

Develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of service
More About You
-
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math’s & English (Grades A* - C)

Experience within social housing or a similar regulated environment
-
Strong experience in supplier and contract management
-
Proven ability to manage and challenge supplier performance using KPIs, SLAs, and contracts

Knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements

Experience ensuring compliance with procurement legislation (including the Procurement Act)

Strong commercial awareness, including budgets, invoices, and financial oversight

Ability to identify risks and drive continuous improvement

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Strong organisation skills with the ability to maintain audit-ready documentation
