We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic shop assistant with excellent communication skills to join our growing team. In this position, you will serve customers both raw and ‘ready to eat’ products, use our till and card payment systems, make up and price wholesale orders, learn how to operate machinery such as the bacon slicer and cold meat slicer, keep the shop area clean and tidy at all times. If you are willing to learn new skills and enjoy dealing with the public then you could be an ideal fit for this shop assistant job.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide general assistance around the shop, including serving customers, taking payments and handing back change, keeping counters stocked up,
- Stock raw materials in store
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area as directed
- Operate equipment such as bacon slicer, cold meat slicer, tills, card payment machine, coffee machine.

- Food Hygiene Qualifications

Location
27 West Port, Arbroath however from time to time may be required to work in our other store in Monifieth for sickness/holiday cover.
