Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker Joiner Assistant to join our dynamic woodworking team. In this role, you will support skilled cabinet makers and joiners in fabricating, assembling, and installing high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture. You will be involved in various stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality at every step.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication of cabinetry and furniture using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
- Support assembly processes by preparing components and ensuring accurate fitting and alignment
- Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting of wood panels, frames, and other components
- Use hand tools such as chisels, saws, drills, and screwdrivers to aid in construction tasks
- Support the installation process by helping with measurements, fitting, and finishing touches
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all fabrication and assembly activities
