Love sport? Thrive on organisation? Enjoy creating unforgettable experiences for young people?
We're looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and highly organised Sport Academies Coordinator to help drive our exciting sports academy and enrichment programmes.
This is not your typical desk-based role.
One day you'll be coordinating fixtures for our talented rugby, football and netball academies. The next, you'll be helping students prepare for a Duke of Edinburgh expedition, organising transport to a tournament, capturing performance footage, celebrating sporting success on social media, or supporting a residential trip.
If you're passionate about sport, enjoy working with young people, and love making things happen behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Sport Academies Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our academies and enrichment programmes run smoothly, safely and successfully.
You'll be:
- Coordinating our successful sports academies, including rugby, football and netball
- Supporting a range of enrichment activities such as volleyball, climbing and outdoor adventure programmes
- Organising fixtures, tournaments, training camps, residentials, trips and expeditions
- Leading the administration and coordination of Duke of Edinburgh provision
- Managing logistics including transport, equipment, venues, staffing and communications
- Overseeing performance analysis systems, including VEO match recording
- Promoting student achievements through reports, marketing activity and social media content
- Working closely with students, parents, coaches, teachers and external partners
- Supporting health and safety processes and acting as a first aider when required
- Helping deliver exciting events, open evenings, celebrations and end-of-season awards
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from people who are:
- Passionate about sport, enrichment and student development
- Brilliant organisers who can juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent communicators who enjoy working with a wide range of people
- Proactive problem-solvers who can think ahead and make things happen
- Committed to creating outstanding experiences for young people
Essential Requirements
- Experience coordinating sport, enrichment, outdoor education or student activity programmes
- Experience organising trips, fixtures, events, visits or expeditions
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements relating to sport and educational visits
- Strong administrative and IT skills
- Ability to motivate and engage young people
- A flexible approach to working hours
- First Aid qualification, or willingness to gain one
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience in outdoor learning or adventurous activities
- Coaching qualifications or National Governing Body awards
