Responsibilities

- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting approaches as necessary to maximize learning outcomes
- Support students in developing social skills, confidence, and independence within a structured learning environment
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support for each student’s development
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress reports, and any relevant observations or concerns
- Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and motivation
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children, particularly those with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and effective teaching strategies for SEN students
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey concepts and foster positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and individual requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or support settings is highly desirable
- Passionate about supporting children’s development and committed to creating an inclusive learning environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or special education are a plus
