Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Garden Maintenance Assistant and Driver to join our dynamic gardening team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy gardens while ensuring safe and efficient transportation of tools, materials, and team members. Your enthusiasm for gardening and horticulture will help up maintain some of the most prestigious domestic and commercial gardens across London. Responsibilities
- Perform routine gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, spotting pests and diseases, as well as lawn care.
- Operate hand tools, some small power tools, irrigation systems, and other gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers and hoses to ensure proper watering schedules
- Occassionally assist with landscape maintenance projects including soil preparation, planting beds, and turf management
- Safely drive company vehicles to transport tools, plants, materials, and team members between sites or locations
- Follow safety protocols during all groundskeeping activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and supply inventories
Experience
- Prior experience in gardening, horticulture, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is highly valued
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
- Growing experience or knowledge of plant care and landscape design will enhance your effectiveness in this role
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and maintain a valid driver’s license is essential
- Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward garden care and safety standards

Pay: £130.00-£150.00 per day
