Responsibilities

- Support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life within their own homes
- Use effective communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Drive between client locations safely and efficiently, ensuring punctuality and reliability
- Keep accurate records of care provided, including notes on client progress and any changes in condition
- Utilize IT tools to update care schedules, document interactions, and report incidents promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members to ensure comprehensive support for clients
Qualifications
- Experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills to engage empathetically with clients and team members
- A genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact in their lives
- Valid driving license with access to a reliable vehicle is highly desirable
