Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop essential skills. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of children, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and social development. We are looking for candidates who are able to effectively manage their time and work as part of a team.
Duties
- Manage daily activities and routines for children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging educational programmes that promote learning through play.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery.
- Ensure rooms are kept clean and tidy.
Must Have:
- Must have a minimum full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Childcare.
- At least 2 years of paid experience working as a Level 3 qualified practitioner with key children.
- Must be able to demonstrate tracking key children's progress and setting up effective activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents alike.

Probation period
6 Months during which time probationary assessments must be passed, digital training programmes completed and positive peer review secured

9 weeks
