Who You'll Be Supporting
You'll be supporting a warm, friendly and independent lady who lives in her own home with her much-loved cat and dog. She leads a full and active life and is looking for someone who will become a trusted part of her support team, someone who is kind, reliable and genuinely enjoys helping others live life on their own terms.
She has a neurological condition with symptoms similar to Muscular Dystrophy and requires support with both her daily routine and a range of clinical interventions, including:
- Personal care
- PEG feeding
- Cough Assist and ventilator support
- Transfers using a ceiling track hoist
- Administration of both routine and controlled medication
No previous clinical experience is required. Our experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) and Clinical Educator will provide comprehensive training, competency assessments and ongoing support, ensuring you feel confident and fully prepared in your role.
Beyond her care needs, she enjoys all things Disney, loves getting creative with arts and crafts, and values spending quality time with family and friends. She is looking for someone who is approachable, respectful and has a good sense of humour—someone who will support her to maintain her independence, achieve her personal goals and continue living the life she chooses.
