An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK. This role is ideal for both Deputy Managers ready to take the next step and experienced Registered Managers looking to join a forward-thinking organisation. As a Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK, you will lead the safe and effective management of a children’s home supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours, while maintaining a current ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the children’s home in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
- Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, promoting well-being and development
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations and company policies
- Manage safeguarding concerns effectively, ensuring the safety of children and staff
- Recruit, supervise, and develop the staff team, fostering a positive and professional environment
- Manage the home’s budget and resources efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and ensure staff are trained and supported appropriately
Requirements:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management
- Level 3 in Children and Young People
- Valid driving licence
- Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children’s services
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
