Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tyres using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Inspect tyres for damage, uneven wear, or defects and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Balance tyres to ensure smooth operation and minimise vibrations during driving.
- Perform wheel alignments as required to optimise vehicle handling and tyre longevity.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist customers with tyre-related enquiries and provide professional advice on tyre maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Experience
- Prior experience is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous to understand vehicle systems and tyre components.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tyre fitting equipment is desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tyres and wheels is essential.
