Ravenstone Recruitment are seeking a reliable and organised Scheduling Coordinator to take responsibility for planning, organising and maintaining consistent schedules that meet client needs while supporting the availability and wellbeing of care professionals.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring clients receive high-quality, consistent and relationship-led care. You will work closely with clients, care professionals, recruitment and care teams to ensure schedules run efficiently and any changes are managed promptly.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective and efficient schedules for clients and care professionals.
- Ensure schedules optimise travel time, availability and continuity of care while meeting client requirements.
- Respond promptly to changes and make real-time adjustments to schedules when necessary.
- Match care professionals with clients based on their skills, experience, availability and compatibility.
- Arrange introductions between care professionals and clients in collaboration with the care team.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients, care professionals and colleagues to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
- Ensure scheduling processes and procedures are followed consistently.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure staffing levels are sufficient to meet current and future demand.
- Monitor schedules and identify potential gaps or issues before they affect service delivery.
- Participate in an evening and weekend on-call rota as required.

Qualifications - What You’ll Need
- Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Scheduler, Rota Coordinator, Workforce Planner or in a similar role within domiciliary care would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working in a scheduling, coordination or workforce-planning environment.
- Knowledge or understanding of the domiciliary care industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- The ability to plan, prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
- A proactive and analytical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence making decisions and adapting schedules at short notice.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, care professionals and colleagues.
- Flexibility to participate in an evening and weekend on-call rota.
