Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of products, equipment, and facilities to verify adherence to safety and quality standards
- Identify defects, non-conformities, or safety hazards and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with production teams to address issues promptly and implement corrective actions
- Review documentation, reports, and records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform routine audits and inspections on scheduled intervals to maintain ongoing quality assurance
- Assist in training staff on inspection procedures and safety protocols when needed
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective measures taken
Requirements
- An Apprenticeship, HNC, BTEC, NVQ or equivalent qualification in a technical subject is required
- Proven experience in inspection or quality assurance roles is preferred but not mandatory; a strong attention to detail is essential
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards clearly
- Excellent observational skills combined with strong analytical thinking
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings accurately and collaborating with team members
- Excellent Manual Handling skills
- Basic proficiency with computer software for recordkeeping and reporting purposes
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
