Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fitter Mate to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced fitters in installing various types of steel work( fence, staircases, gates, balustrades. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills Looking for candidate from local place as traveling is essential .You will be traveling with team.
Responsibilities
- Support fitters in the installation and assembly of roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and other structural components
- Assist with cutting, fitting, and securing materials using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, measuring, and marking areas for installation
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or masonry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Basic understanding of schematics or technical drawings is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
must have CSCS
Pay: £160.00 per day
