Carpenter Improver
Elite Construction – Worthing & Sussex
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Improver to join our team working on high quality residential projects across Worthing and the surrounding areas.
The role will mainly involve first fix carpentry, alongside general building and site duties as required.
Duties will include:
- First fix carpentry
- Stud walls and timber partitions
- Floor and ceiling joists
- Roof timber work
- Door linings and associated carpentry
- Plasterboarding
- General building work
- Assisting experienced carpenters and other trades where required
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
Requirements:
- Previous carpentry experience
- Good understanding of first fix carpentry
- Full UK driving licence
- Own van and tools essential
- Reliable and punctual
- Good work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good standard of workmanship
- Professional and respectful when working in clients’ homes
We work mainly on residential extensions, renovations and structural alteration projects, with an emphasis on quality workmanship, organised sites and a professional working environment.
This would suit someone who already has a good level of carpentry experience and wants to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced tradesmen on varied residential projects.
Good rates of pay for the right person. Ongoing work available.
Pay: £140.00-£220.00 per day
