West Kent Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Greenkeeper to join our dedicated course team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a progressive club that is continually investing in its golf course, machinery, irrigation and the development of its team. About the Role
Working as part of our Course Management team, you’ll help maintain and continually improve our 18-hole golf course to the highest possible standards. No two days are the same, with duties including:
- Golf course presentation and daily setup
- Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough
- Bunker preparation
- Machinery operation and maintenance
- Irrigation and hand watering
- Course improvement projects
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a close-knit team
About You
We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine passion for greenkeeping.
Essential:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Pride in producing high-quality work
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf (preferred but not essential)
- Previous greenkeeping or grounds maintenance experience
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates
- Full UK driving licence
