Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee our manufacturing facility in the UK. This role is vital for ensuring the successful delivery of high-end solutions aligned with our company's mission of excellence and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily site operations to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications and agreed programmes.
- Coordinate and supervise installation teams and subcontractors on site.
- Liaise with Project Managers to plan works, allocate resources and resolve site issues.
- Conduct site inductions, daily briefings, and regular toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and company policies.
- Develop, review, and implement RAMS in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and carry out regular inspections and snagging.
- Manage site materials, deliveries and storage, ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, progress reports, and H&S documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding site access, progress, and issues.
- Identify and report variations, delays, or design changes in a timely manner.
- Support the Project Manager with progress reporting and programme updates.
- Ensure works are completed within budget, time and quality constraints.
- Carry out any other duties as directed by Senior Management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a Site Manager or supervisory role within construction or installation environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Sound organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple activities.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice.
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
