Slitting Line Setter Operator
All applicants must have experience of steel slitting. Your main duties will include:
- The setting and operating of a shimless slitting line
- Use of micrometres and verniers
- Using pneumatic hand tools
- Operating overhead crane
- Booking job details onto the computer system
- Variable hours
- Overtime may be required
- Be able to work safely and in line with the company's health and safety procedures
- Basic rate of £14.77 per hour increasing to £15.27 after successful trial
- Overtime paid at a rate of time and a third
