Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires excellent phone etiquette, strong organisational skills, and proficiency in various office software. This is a sole resposibilty role and can be employed or self-employed
Duties
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Handle clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents.
- Support financial operations by managing invoices and basic bookkeeping using .
- Collaborate with the owner to ensure all administrative functions are executed smoothly.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is essential.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
