Hours of work: 37 per week.
Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 5.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 12 months.

An opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager at our small, rural primary school. We are looking for someone to undertake and manage the delivery of administrative support for the school, so that the school can deliver excellent services to the pupils and their parents/carers. The purpose of the role is to ensure the support is effective, contributes to meeting local priorities and applies policies and standards.
Experience of working in an administrative role in a school setting (preferred but not essential). You will need:
- The ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Proficiency in maths and English.
- High expectations for the delivery of administrative support to the school.
- A commitment to the Christian values of the school.
- An understanding of safeguarding in schools.
- A positive, professional approach that reflects the values and image of the school.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Organise the provision of comprehensive administrative support for staff, as required.
2. Monitor the local budget for administrative support so that it is used appropriately and effectively within budget, maintaining records to account for spending.
3. Maintain office supplies and purchase office stock as required to ensure the effective operation of administrative services and to meet team needs.
4. Attend and contribute to meetings and action outcomes of those meetings.
5. Support and deliver on project and development work in support of the initiatives within the team.
6. Oversee administrative work flows, working with key stakeholders, partners and providers in order to feed into the improvement of systems and services.
7. Attend staff meetings, supervision and training as required, including participation in the annual performance appraisal review scheme.
8. Work with the Caretaker to maintain property and facilities and their security.
This is a permanent thirty-five hour a week position, term time only.
