Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Planning & Progress Assistant to join our team.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Order spare parts and materials required for aircraft component repairs.
- Chase suppliers for delivery updates and accurate ETA information.
- Maintain accurate records of orders and supplier communications.
- Monitor the progress of customer aircraft components through the repair process.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Customer Service team, ensuring accurate and timely information is available.
- Assist in maintaining production plans and progress reports.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and support corrective actions to minimise delays.
- Liaise with the Structures Manager regarding inspection schedules and repair completion dates.
Requirements
- GCSE C / Grade 4 in both English & Mathematics is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow processes and procedures precisely.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong general computer skills.
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
