We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Take orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Restock supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth operation.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a positive atmosphere within the venue.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, providing correct change when necessary.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Experience
- Proven experience working as Bar Staff within a busy hospitality environment, ideally in a pub setting.
- Strong skills in serving customers efficiently with professionalism and courtesy.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with standard bar equipment and techniques is preferred but not essential if willing to learn on the job. This position offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality to develop their skills further within a dynamic team environment.
