United Utilities’ Energy Generation team is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical background to support the performance and reliability of our renewable and low carbon energy assets.
In this hands-on role, you will work with advanced technologies including combined heat and power engines, gas-to-grid systems, and associated plant equipment. You will play a key part in ensuring these assets remain safe, efficient, and dependable, directly contributing to sustainable energy production.
This is a varied and dynamic position where you will be responsible for diagnostics, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities across innovative energy systems. You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, while also supporting apprentices and contractors to build capability and maintain high standards. You will be part of a forward-thinking environment, with ongoing training and development to support your growth within the renewable energy sector.
You will be a qualified electrical professional who brings both strong technical expertise and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
