Job Introduction
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Pay rate: £15.00 per hour plus paid travel expenses 25p per mile
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shifts: Days, Wake Night, Sleep- in shifts
Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence (due to nature of the role)
If you’re an experienced Support Worker who thrives on variety and loves making a genuine impact, this role is for you. We’re recruiting a Community Support Worker to deliver flexible, person‑centred support across a range of services in Southampton and the surrounding areas.
This is a permanent position with guaranteed hours — perfect for someone who enjoys adapting to different environments, meeting new people, and bringing stability and compassion wherever it’s needed. You’ll receive full training to work confidently across supported living and complex care services in the community.
What you’ll be doing
As a Community Support Worker, you’ll be the person who steps in and makes everything run smoothly. Your day could include:

1:1 or 2:1 support — delivering high‑quality, attentive care

Creating meaningful activities — at home or out in the community

Encouraging social interaction — helping people build confidence and connection

Supporting communication — in the way that works best for each individual

Maintaining a calm, organised environment — through everyday household tasks
