Job Overview
Sustain Commercial Solar Ltd is seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to support our warehouse and logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, preparing materials for solar installations, and delivering equipment (including solar panels) to project sites.
This role be based at our Warrehouse in Cheshunt.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
08:00 – 18:00
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Stock Management
- Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries of solar equipment and materials.
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for installation teams.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits.
Driving & Deliveries
- Deliver solar equipment and materials, including solar panels and mounting systems, to installation sites.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely, securely, and on schedule.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials at the warehouse and site locations.
- Carry out vehicle checks and maintain company vehicles in good condition.
Equipment Handling
- Operate forklifts and telehandlers to move stock safely within the warehouse and during loading/unloading.
- Ensure all lifting and handling equipment is used in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Forklift and Telehandler certification (preferred).
- Previous warehouse or storeman experience.
- Experience with stock control systems and inventory management.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials such as solar panels.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working in solar, electrical, or construction industries.
- Knowledge of solar equipment and components.

Pay: £26,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
