Part-Time Business Administrator
We are looking for a highly organised and trustworthy Business Administrator to support the day-to-day administration of several growing businesses.
This is a behind-the-scenes role focused on keeping financial records, paperwork and business administration organised. You will work closely with the business owner to ensure everything is accurate, up to date and well managed.
Responsibilities
- Record and monitor business income and expenses.
- Maintain spreadsheets for purchases, sales and supplier payments.
- Track wages, rent, utility bills and other business expenses.
- Reconcile bank transactions and keep financial records up to date.
- Organise invoices, receipts and important business documents.
- Prepare paperwork for the accountant.
- Produce weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor payment due dates and remind management of upcoming bills.
- Keep records organised across multiple businesses.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information.
Requirements
- Previous administration or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is an advantage but not essential.
Working Hours
- Part-time (approximately 10–12 hours per week).
- 2 days per week (hours can be discussed).
