Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, suggest upselling opportunities, and answer guest questions confidently
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, promptly addressing any concerns or needs
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with a strong focus on guest services
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Strong communication abilities to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest experience and restaurant sales
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus for understanding food presentation and timing
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
