Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of electrical components and systems within our organisation.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating and ensuring the timely acquisition of materials essential for our operations.
Duties
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for electrical materials aligned with organisational goals.
- Acquire prices and delivery terms with suppliers to optimise cost-efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure the seamless flow of electrical components.
- Analyse market prices and supplier performance to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with colleagues & project teams to forecast requirements and plan procurement schedules accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to electrical procurement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement management within the electrical or related industries.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Experience in the modular building sector preferred but not essential.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Ability to analyse data effectively to inform decision-making processes.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
