Duties
- Assist with the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, and settlement statements
- Coordinate communication between clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders to keep transactions on track
- Manage and organize case files using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for efficient record-keeping
- Conduct title searches and review property ownership details to verify legal status and identify potential issues
- Monitor deadlines and ensure all steps in the conveyancing process are completed promptly using effective time management skills
- Draft correspondence and reports clearly in English, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating case management systems, and maintaining organized documentation
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate information in English both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent organizational skills
- Basic understanding of IT systems relevant to legal case management and document processing
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while prioritizing tasks
- Knowledge of conveyancing procedures or previous experience as a paralegal is preferred but not required
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy throughout all stages of property transactions
