Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional standard of service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms are kept tidy and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist guests with their requests courteously and efficiently
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and organise storage areas effectively
Experience
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred but not essential
- Janitorial experience is advantageous and can provide a strong foundation for the role
- A keen eye for detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
