Professional Furniture Sprayer
Preston Furniture Solutions is a furniture manufacturer based in Hull producing wooden drawer boxes and components for the KBB industry. Due to expansion, we are looking for a experienced furniture sprayer to join our small, friendly team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while also being part of a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for spraying high-quality furniture and components maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and organisation.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a professional furniture sprayer
- Strong knowledge of water-based primers and lacquers
- Operate spray painting equipment with precision to apply finishes evenly across various furniture pieces
- Mix paints, stains, and finishes accurately according to colour specifications and technical requirements
- Ability to achieve high-quality, consistent finishes
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work well with others when required
- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship
The Role:
- Spraying furniture components and completed pieces to a high standard
- Preparing items ready for finishing (sanding & cleaning where required)
- Maintaining a clean and organised spray area
The hours of work are 6.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
