Chef – Exmouth Pavilion (Seafront Café & Theatre Venue)
Join the team at Exmouth Pavilion’s Theatre Café, a unique seafront venue serving locals, visitors and theatre-goers in a relaxed, lively setting.
We’re a small, supportive kitchen team where everyone plays a part and where you can genuinely enjoy cooking again without the long, late-night shifts of a typical hospitality role.

Minimal late nights (mainly show evenings, usually finished before 10pm)

Varied but balanced hours around the theatre programme

A new integrated Procure Wizard system, linked to tills for accurate stock and easier kitchen organisation

About the role
You’ll support the Head Chef in delivering a fresh, varied food offer across:

Breakfast and lunch service

Café favourites and light bites
-
Pre-theatre dining, with exciting plans to expand into more creative, high-quality pre-show menus
You’ll also:

Prepare fresh, high-quality dishes consistently

Help develop and improve menus
-
Maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards
-
Support stock control, deliveries and kitchen organisation using Procure Wizard
-
Work closely as part of a small, collaborative team
What we’re looking for

Experience in a busy kitchen

Level 2 Food Hygiene (or willing to gain)

A team player who enjoys a close-knit environment
-
Positive attitude and attention to detail
-
Passion for food and great customer experiences
-
Confidence with basic systems for ordering and stock control (Procure Wizard)
