If you've ever wished you could try working in a private clinic before committing to becoming an associate, this could be exactly what you're looking for.
Rather than expecting you to jump straight into a fee-share role, our client offers something much more reassuring.
You'll begin on a paid three-month locum assignment , giving you the chance to experience the clinic, meet the team, build relationships with patients and decide whether it's somewhere you'd love to stay long term.
If it's the right fit for everyone, you'll then move seamlessly into a long-term self-employed associate position.
We think that's a brilliant way to join a clinic.
What really impressed us though was the culture.
This isn't one of those clinics where everyone simply closes their treatment room door.
Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports Therapists and Pilates professionals work together every day, discussing cases, sharing ideas and genuinely supporting one another.
Add in a fully equipped rehabilitation gym and dedicated Pilates studio, and you've got an environment where you can deliver the kind of rehabilitation most MSK clinicians aspire to provide.
We're looking for an MSK Physiotherapist who enjoys helping people move better, recover well and achieve long-term results.
You'll ideally have:
- Around two years' MSK experience, although we'd happily consider an exceptional new graduate with the right attitude and clinical foundation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence managing an independent caseload
- A collaborative team-focused approach
Experience within private practice would be advantageous but certainly isn't essential.
Additional skills such as Pilates, rehabilitation, acupuncture or dry needling would also be welcomed but aren't required.
We're far more interested in finding someone who's a great fit for the team than simply ticking qualification boxes.
You'll manage a varied private MSK caseload within an established and highly respected clinic.
Your work will include:
- General musculoskeletal conditions
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Exercise-based rehabilitation
- Individual rehabilitation planning
- Patient education and self-management
- Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
With an established patient base, modern rehabilitation facilities and excellent internal referrals, you'll have everything you need to deliver outstanding patient care.
The clinic is currently looking for approximately 29 hours per week , including:
Monday: 8:00am-1:45pm
Tuesday: 8:00am-2:00pm
Thursday: 2:15pm-8:00pm
Friday: 2:15pm-7:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am-3:00pm
There is flexibility around Saturday working, with alternate weekends available if preferred.
As your patient list grows, there is also genuine potential for the role to become full time.
The clinic is based in Balham, South West London, with excellent public transport links and an established local reputation.
This opportunity offers much more than simply covering a three-month contract.
Think of the initial locum period as an opportunity for both you and the clinic to make sure it's the right long-term fit.
You'll receive guaranteed hourly pay while settling into the team, getting to know the patients and experiencing the clinic's supportive culture first-hand.
If it's the right fit for everyone, you'll then transition into a long-term self-employed associate position, giving you the opportunity to build your own established caseload within a thriving private practice.
Along the way, you'll benefit from regular CPD, experienced mentors, excellent rehabilitation facilities and the chance to work alongside Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports Therapists and Pilates professionals who genuinely enjoy learning from one another.
It's a fantastic opportunity to experience one of South West London's most respected MSK clinics before making a longer-term commitment.
If you're looking for more than just another MSK role and would love the opportunity to experience a fantastic private clinic before committing long term, we'd love to hear from you.
