Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Self Employed Housekeeper to provide professional luxury housekeeping services across various client locations for our private members. The ideal candidate will have experience in domestic housekeeping work, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping, and possess excellent organisational skills and operate to a very high standard. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to build a reputable client base with our members. A background in luxury environments or transferrable skills that show attention to detail and a commitment to quality service. The position is paid weekly and suitable for individuals seeking self-employment with the flexibility to manage their own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and general home maintenance tasks such as ironing laundry etc according to client specifications
- utilise cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation in all assigned areas
- Manage your own schedule to optimise client appointments and minimise downtime
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their home and cleaning needs and preferences
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within agreed timeframes and to a very high standard
- Keep detailed records of work completed and any supplies used or required for future visits
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients independently
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Additional skills such as experience in hospitality can be beneficial but are not essential
- Own transportation and cleaning supplies are required for self-employment setup
- Ability to work flexibly across different locations, including residential
