Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and janitorial services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock amenities in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and cleaning techniques is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
