Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Site Cleaner to join our team at a busy factory site. These roles are essential in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at one of our sites based in Newport.
The supervisor will be responsible for a combination of internal cleaning, shop floor maintenance, and recycling segregation and supervision of a team of 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cleaning duties across internal areas such as offices, staff rooms, kitchens, and washrooms
- Maintain cleanliness on the factory shop floor, including sweeping, mopping, and handling spillages
- Support with segregation and disposal of recycling and general waste in line with company procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (e.g. floor scrubbers, vacuums, etc.)
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies when necessary
- Complete cleaning checklists and logs accurately
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Respond to any urgent cleaning requests as required
- Work collaboratively with the cleaning team and site staff to uphold cleanliness standards
Hours of work
Monday- Friday 7am-3pm
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
