We’re looking for an organised, personable and commercially minded Wedding & Events Coordinator to join the Roister team and take ownership of our private events and wedding enquiries from the initial conversation through to the big day.
The Role
As Wedding & Events Coordinator, you’ll be the main point of contact for couples, private clients and corporate customers looking to host an event with Roister.
You’ll manage the full event journey; responding to enquiries, conducting meetings, creating proposals, coordinating internal teams, and making sure every detail is planned and delivered to an exceptional standard.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives on organisation and genuinely enjoys making people’s celebrations special.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to wedding and event enquiries.
- Build strong relationships with couples, clients and event organisers.
- Manage enquiries through to confirmed bookings, contracts and deposits.
- Create bespoke event proposals, menus, packages and quotations.
- Coordinate all pre-event details, including timings, menus, layouts, entertainment and suppliers.
- Assist in Event Load in, Load out of venues, vans & trailers including manual handling of equipment.
- Work closely with the kitchen, front-of-house and management teams to ensure events are delivered seamlessly.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and on event days where required.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, payments and event information.
- Proactively follow up enquiries and maximise conversion and revenue opportunities.
- Build relationships with local wedding venues, suppliers, planners and businesses.
- Help develop and promote Roister’s wedding and events offering.
- Support marketing activity, open days, showcases and wedding fairs.
- Gather client feedback and continually look for ways to improve the guest experience.
- Ensure every event reflects Roister’s standards, personality and attention to detail.
About You

- Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events require it.
- Comfortable with manual labour for event build and break.
Experience
Previous experience in weddings, events, hospitality, venue sales, wedding planning or a similar customer-facing role is highly desirable.
We’re particularly interested in people who can demonstrate a track record of managing enquiries, converting bookings and coordinating events from initial contact through to delivery.
Most importantly, you’ll need excellent attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to make clients feel confident that their event is in safe hands.
