We are looking to add a team member to our long established team of engineers.
Working Monday - Friday
8 Hr days basic plus overtime paid door to door
28 days holiday plus bank holidays (Excluding on call bank holiday days)

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
. Candidates should demonstrate excellent leadership and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform maintenance on Milking equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards are maintained.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and automation systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Programme and modify programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct welding and other mechanical repairs as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Supervise maintenance teams or contractors during repair activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing downtime, and enhancing product quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by liaising with internal teams to meet operational requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications for compliance purposes.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations across all tasks undertaken.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in welding techniques suitable for industrial environments.
- Demonstrable electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge
- Experience in maintenance planning, execution, and supervision within a manufacturing context.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Previous supervising or leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process optimisation. Candidates must possess relevant technical qualifications or certifications related to electrical or mechanical engineering within the dairy or food manufacturing sectors. The role is paid accordingly for all levels of experience and expertise.
Pay: £32,500.00-£42,500.00 per year
