We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including reservations, seating arrangements, and customer service.
- Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
- Assist in training new staff members on service procedures, food safety protocols, and customer engagement.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and special offers that enhance guest experience.
- Support team management by motivating staff, organising shifts, and fostering a positive working environment.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in food safety management and adherence to health regulations.
- Familiarity with restaurant service standards, including serving techniques and hospitality best practices.
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of food production processes and hotel or bar environments is desirable.
