This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who enjoys building client relationships and delivering excellent first-opinion care, with a particular focus on consulting. If you'd like to maintain your surgical skills too, we're happy to tailor the role to include routine procedures.

A purpose-built Veterinary Hospital in Colne

A consulting and operating branch in Burnley

A consulting branch in Barnoldswick

Our own 24/7 out-of-hours service, providing continuity of care for our patients

Modern facilities including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, endoscopy, dedicated surgical theatres and separate canine and feline wards
We're passionate about supporting both our people and our local community through charity fundraising, educational initiatives and local partnerships.
The Role

Consulting-focused position with a strong emphasis on client care and clinical decision-making

Routine consultations and case work-ups

Working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team, with certificate holders in medicine, dentistry and emergency and critical care, supported by a highly skilled nursing team

Opportunity to undertake routine surgical procedures if desired
Hours and Flexibility

Full-time position (part-time and flexible working arrangements considered)

No out-of-hours commitments

Participation in a shared weekend rota helping us continue to provide excellent care and continuity for our patients

Flexible schedules available so we can create a role that works for both you and the practice

We're looking for a vet who:

Has ideally completed VetGDP

Is confident with routine consultations

Enjoys building strong client relationships
