Second Chef - Long Stratton
Hours: 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
Shifts between: 7am to 7pm.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Care Home as part of their catering team. You will be assisting to develop a high-quality catering service to approximately 60 residents, guests and visitors of this Care Home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation, cooking and attractive presentation of all meals
- To create nutritious, well-balanced dishes using fresh, high quality and seasonal produce
- Assist in the ordering of supplies, and ensure the smooth transfer of supplies, goods and equipment between storage and work areas
- Ensure the safe operation of all kitchen equipment
