Job Summary
Connect House are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our care team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality person centred support to individuals in the care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, well-being and dignity are maintained at all times. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including (but not limited to) bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, promoting independence and dignity.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and update documentation using IT systems efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating with colleagues and participating in ongoing training.
Requirements
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Basic IT skills for updating electronic care records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- A caring attitude combined with reliability, patience, and professionalism.
