Triple S Security is looking for reliable, professional and motivated SIA Security Officers to join our growing team. ROLE OVERVIEW As an SIA Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure and professional environment across assigned sites, venues and events. You will represent Triple S Security while on duty and will be expected to uphold high standards of conduct, reliability, communication and professionalism at all times. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop within the security industry and be part of a company that values its team members, discipline, prevention, professionalism and effective service delivery.
MAIN DUTIES Duties may include: Access control Public and customer interaction Site patrols Monitoring behaviour and potential risks Supporting incident prevention Conflict management and de-escalation Reporting incidents accurately Assisting with site safety Following client and company procedures Maintaining a visible and professional security presence
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Applicants must have: A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence A valid SIA CCTV Licence A professional attitude and appearance Strong communication skills Good timekeeping and reliability The ability to remain calm under pressure A willingness to work flexible hours A willingness to travel where required The ability to follow instructions, policies and site procedures A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. Applicants without a driving licence must be willing and able to commute to different locations when required.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL TRAINING The following training is preferred:
Mental Health Awareness Level 2 or Level 3
FAW — First Aid at Work
Fire Marshal Level 2
ACT Awareness or ACT Security
Drug Awareness Level 2 or Level 3 Physical Intervention Training
Applicants who do not currently hold the preferred additional training may still be considered. Where required, additional training must be completed through Triple S Security or a company-approved provider after successful induction or probation, depending on business requirements. A company-approved training bundle may be available where required, with the full course package equating to approximately £320–£360. Full details will be confirmed before any training is arranged.
PAY AND PAYMENT OPTIONS The pay rate for this role is: £14.00 per hour Payment can be arranged either: Every 2 weeks Monthly The payment schedule will depend on the option agreed with the company.
CONTRACT, WORKING ARRANGEMENT AND PROBATION Successful applicants may be engaged on either a PAYE or self-employed basis, depending on the role, working arrangement, business requirements and agreed employment status. Zero-hours arrangements may be available where applicable. All successful applicants will begin with an initial 2-month probation period. During probation, performance, reliability, conduct, appearance, punctuality, communication and suitability for the role will be reviewed. Continued work after probation will depend on performance, business needs and available assignments.
