We are an independent Opticians on the Wirral looking to hire a part time / full time Trainee Optical Assistant.
The position involves booking in patients, taking phone calls, using our pre screening equipment, filing, ordering contact lenses and receiving in deliveries.
You must possess excellent customer service skills and a background in retail or customer service is an advantage. We'd like you have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team as well.
If you have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn plus a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade A-C (including maths and science) then full training can be given for the right candidate.
Job Type: Part-time- Full Time to include Saturdays. Must be flexible to cover sick / holiday days.
This position would suit a school leaver wanting to pursue a career in optics.
