We’re looking for experienced Early Years Practitioners who are ready to get involved, share their ideas, and help our expansion flourish. Successful candidate would be expected to:
-Be able to organise and lead a team of Practitioners with our Baby (0-2years) Room
-Communicate between their team and Management, as well as act on directions given by Management.
-Contribute as part of a team to the provision of a quality early learning and childcare service for children aged 0-2 years and their families.
-Work to the principles of the national care standards for early education and childcare and abide by the Code of Practice for Social Service Workers.
-Promote and develop positive working relationships with parents, children and team members. Ensuring communication is clear and concise.
-Keep up to date with latest practice, adhering to policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
-To be reliable, hardworking, honest, with a good sense of humour ensuring a delivery of high quality of care and learning.
-To be confident using digital technology to ensure all relevant information is uploaded, monitored and evaluated.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Successful candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.

Wage starting at £14 per hour – up to £29,120 per year (based on full-time hours worked).

Required qualification: HNC or equivalent
Preferred qualification: BA Childhood Practice or Graduate PDA Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 9
Required experience: At least 2 year within a childcare setting, nursery or similar.
Preferred experience: At least 2 year caring for 0-2 year olds within a childcare setting, nursery or similar.
