We are currently recruiting experienced LGV Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established food and FMCG distribution operation based in Lenham, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 2 drivers looking for a permanent position with a reputable company, working on planned delivery routes throughout the UK.
The Role:
- Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle on planned delivery routes
- Multi-drop deliveries of ambient food and FMCG products
- Delivering to wholesalers, cash & carries, food-service outlets, independent retailers, restaurants, hotels and other businesses
- Loading and unloading goods using tail lifts, pallet trucks and sack trucks
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery
- Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Complying with all relevant drivers' hours, tachograph and company regulations
Requirements:
- Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK roads
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Maximum of 6 points considered, with no major endorsements
