Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Courier/Delivery Driver and be the vital link between our company and our valued customers! This position offers an exciting opportunity to stay active, work independently, and contribute directly to our company's success.
Your day starts at the local depot, where you’ll scan, organise and load your parcels. You’ll then head out on your allocated route, delivering and collecting parcels while providing a friendly and reliable service to customers.
At the end of your route, you’ll return to the depot to offload and debrief.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- delivery routes effectively planned to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Load and unload packages, including handling heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records for all shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pickups, returns, or special deliveries as needed
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role is preferred but training provided if not
- Commercial driving experience is highly desirable for handling larger vehicles or specialized deliveries
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes enhances efficiency in this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably during loading and unloading tasks
- Experience with heavy vehicle operation or commercial driving certifications is a plus but not essential

Benefits
- Drivers hiring a van must be aged 23+ with 2+ years driving experience
- Pay: £150.00-£250.00 per day:
