Position Summary
Bear Business Finance Ltd is seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Sales Director to lead and develop our sales team during an exciting period of growth.
Reporting directly to the Director, the Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue across the business by leading, motivating and developing our team of Finance Brokers. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for creating a high-performance sales culture, increasing productivity, improving conversion rates and implementing scalable sales processes to support the continued expansion of Bear Business Finance Ltd.
You will take ownership of the entire sales function, ensuring the team consistently delivers exceptional customer service whilst achieving ambitious revenue targets. Working closely with the Director, you will help shape the future growth of the business by recruiting top talent, developing existing employees, strengthening lender and introducer relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead, inspire and motivate the Finance Broker team to consistently achieve and exceed revenue and performance targets, daily, weekly and monthly.
- Build and maintain a high-performance sales culture centred around accountability, ambition, professionalism and success.
- Coach, mentor and develop Finance Brokers through regular one-to-ones, pipeline reviews, call coaching, deal reviews, sales coaching and performance discussions.
- Implementing and enforcing a defined sales process, ensuring brokers have the tools, support and direction required to maximise their performance and earning potential.
- Monitor individual and team performances daily, weekly and monthly. Identifying opportunities for improvement and providing targeted support to increase results.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the business as the sales function continues to grow.
Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
- Take ownership of overall sales performance, ensuring the team delivers against ambitious revenue and growth objectives.
- Analyse sales performance, KPIs, conversion rates and pipeline activity to identify opportunities to improve productivity and increase revenue.
- Work closely with the Director to develop and execute sales strategies that support the continued growth and expansion of Bear Business Finance.
- Drive a proactive, results-focused sales environment where brokers are consistently generating new opportunities and maximising commercial outcomes.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding and development of high-performing Finance Brokers to strengthen the future growth of the business.
Leadership
- Lead by example through professionalism, work ethic and personal standards.

What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will be an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of driving business growth and developing high-performing sales teams, particularly with experience scaling a business from seven figures to eight figures.
You will be commercially minded, highly motivated and passionate about building successful people and successful businesses.
Essential Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience operating as a Sales Director, Head of Sales, Commercial Director or equivalent senior sales leadership role.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams of 10+ people.
- Demonstrable success working within a high-growth business, with the ability to evidence the role you played in scaling revenue, improving sales performance and driving business growth.
- A proven track record of delivering measurable increases in revenue, sales conversion, profitability and team performance.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to create and execute successful sales strategies.
- Experience implementing KPIs, sales processes, forecasting and performance management frameworks.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where growth, accountability and results are expected.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
